Spring Break: Flower Trees in Philly

Posted on April 21, 2014 by Madeline Tolle | 0 Comments

Spring in Philadelphia is a magical place. Following the brutal winters, the city really embraces spring in a big way. Since there hasn't been snow for a few weeks, the city is clean and rather dry, and the flowering trees are out in full bloom.

The most amazing thing about the flowering trees that seem to line every street is how beautiful but temporary they are. Today they're full and soaking up the sun, but tomorrow, once it starts raining, their petals will fall and they'll go back to their normal leafy nature.

It's such a special treat to see such beauty on a monday morning. What's your favorite thing about Spring where you live?
